Abu Zayn is the best Egyptian kitchen on Long Island — six tables, an open grill, and the recipes Chef Omar grew up cooking in Cairo. Shawarma is marinated overnight and hand-carved off the spit, kofta is hand-pressed every morning, and the ta’ameya is fried to order. Everything is 100% halal and made fresh.
Abu Zayn is built around real Egyptian flavor and a warm welcome that makes you want to stay. From fire-kissed lamb chops to a comforting bowl of Om Ali, every plate carries the bold spices and the hospitality Chef Omar brought with him from home.
